If you have suggestions for a new payload to be added or if there's an important issue with some payload, please report them in the Issues section.

Catalog schema & icons

payloads.json provides the legacy bare array format for compatibility with older tooling. payloads_v2.json provides the newer catalog schema containing repository metadata (name and icons_url: "icons.json"). Payloads reference an icon_key; icons.json maps those keys to base64 PNG, JPEG or SVG data URIs under its icons object. Keys are content hashes, so identical images share one entry. Images stay below 12,288 characters and remain compatible with PS5 WebKit. set_icon.py and add_payload.py publish the image data before saving the catalog reference. Updating payload releases preserves these references. Payload Manager caches icon catalogs separately for seven days.
